EQUIPMENT MATTERS

606 Training is a 2500 sq. ft. facility located at 1412 Airport Road Unit 9, Bismarck, ND. The all-turf facility is equipped with 2 batting cages, 2 baseball and 2 softball pitching mounds, radar guns, Hack Attack pitching machine and Jugs pitching machine for baseball and softball, and numerous training tools for athletes to utilize.

 
  • The Hack Attack pitching machine utilized by 606 Training is of MLB specifications. It is capable of throwing baseballs and softballs speeds of 30-105 MPH. It is also capable of throwing RHP or LHP curveballs, sliders, split fingers, and knuckleballs. The pitching machine has a ball feeder so that hitting can be done without the use of another person. The ball feeder holds up to 150 baseball that allows for 20 straight minutes of uninterrupted hitting.

  • 606 Training utilizes the Pocket Radar gun. This machine is capable of tracking throwing speed, as well as, exit velocity.

  • Coach Schaner utilizes the Driveline throwing program to build arm strength and increase throwing velocity. A series of weighted balls are used under supervision to prevent injury and ensure arm care.

  • The baseball mound at 606 Training is a training pitching mound built to the exact specifications of an MLB pitching mound.

  • The fastpitch pitching mound is the ProMound Jennie Finch Full-Length Mat with Powerline.

  • The Jugs pitching machine is perfect for the fastpitch or slow pitch softball player. It is capable of throwing pitches 20-70 MPH. The pitching machine has a ball feeder so that hitting can be done without the need for another person feeding it. The ball feeder holds 20 twelve inch softballs or 30 eleven inch softballs for continuous hitting.
